Prince History for June 13 from On-This-Day.com 1995 - Rosie Gaines' album "Closer Than Close" was released. 1997 - The Minneapolis county medical examiner's office confirmed the death of Prince's son, Gregory, on October 23rd. Gregory was 7 days old and died of natural causes (skeletal abnormality). 2000 - Prince performed a three-and-a-half-hour performance at Minneapolis' Northrop Auditorium. 2005 - In Washington, DC, Prince played a secret show at the White House for U.S. President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and 500 of their friends.
