1957 - RCA informed Elvis Presley that they would exercise their option to extend the term of his contract. The current contract was to expire on October 15, 1961, the new contract was scheduled to expire on October 15, 1966.
1966 - The principle photography for the Elvis Presley movie "Spinout" began.
1975 - Elvis Presley was discharged from the hospital. He was admitted on January 29.
