1992 - U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle criticized the CBS sitcom "Murphy Brown" for having its title character decide to bear a child out of wedlock.

1994 - The final episode of "L.A. Law" aired.

1996 - The final episode of "Murder, She Wrote" aired on CBS.

1999 - Rosie O'Donnell and Tom Selleck got into an uncomfortable verbal issue concerning gun control on O'Donnell's talk show.

2000 - The "Dukes Of Hazzard" television movie entitled "Hazzard in Hollywood" aired.

2002 - The conclusion of "Survivor: Marquesas" was aired by CBS. The show, the fourth "Survivor" series, was filmed in the South Pacific's Marquesas Islands.
