PGA Golf Championship

The PGA golf championship is one of the most coveted and prestigious of golf tournaments. The PGA championship with takes place during the month of August is the last events in what is called the grand slam of golf. The grand slam of golf consists of four different events held yearly worldwide. These events are called major tournaments because the best golfers from around the world come to compete in these events.

The PGA Tour has three different brackets the men's tour for the elite male golfers The women's tour the Champions tour for older golfers who are 50 years or older and then there's a minor league tour which is called the Nationwide Tour which is for up-and-coming golfers.

The PGA Tour is preceded by the British open in July the U.S. Open in June and prior to that is the Masters in April these four tournaments are what comprises the Grand Slam of Golf.
