1960 - Elvis Presley arrived at McGuire Air Force Base near Fort Dix, New Jersey, after his time in the Army in Germany. Nancy Sinatra was his official greeter as he stepped off the plane.
1964 - Elvis Presley recorded the version of "Roustabout" that was written by Otis Blackwell and Winfield Scott. It was not used in the film "Roustabout."
1980 - A napkin signed by Elvis Presley was bought for 500 pounds at a Sotheby's auction in London.
