1990 - Janet Jackson's single "Black Cat" hit #1 in the U.S.

2003 - Michael Jackson's "What More Can I Give" charity single was released as a paid download on the Internet. The release was delayed two years due to disputes over ownership of the song. The charity single was originally intended to aid victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York.

2009 - Sony Music Entertainment's Columbia/Epic Label Group released the two-disc album "This Is It" in North America. The set featured the music that inspired Sony Pictures' forthcoming film "MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT." This two-disc album was released Internationally on October 26th.

2010 - Twenty-five global premieres of Michael Jackson's "THIS IS IT" took place around the world. Fifteen were simultaneous.
